Gutz Technologies is looking for an ML Scientist to work on VI methods and probabilistic modeling for pediatric microbiome multi-omics. We’re part of Wellcome LEAP’s $50M FORM program — 17,000 children, 7+ cohorts, longitudinal data across metagenomics, metabolomics, and clinical outcomes.
We’re pushing VI to work at clinical accuracy on compositional, high-dimensional time-series data. If you’re interested in where the boundaries of approximate inference are and want your models to reach patients rather than a paper appendix, this might be the role.
